According to the researchers, women who are going through the menopause have a higher risk of developing respiratory diseases such as asthma. Some menopausal women often experienced problem in their lungs and more respiratory symptoms after six months of not having period. According to the findings this is due to the loss of estrogen levels of menopausal women. Weight is also one of the factors that determine the effects of having a respiratory disease. Within this stage, menopausal women should protect their health properly because during this period, women may expose in many kinds of symptoms and diseases.
