Menopause, along its symbolic impact as the end of a woman’s reproductive capacities, represents a series of sexual and psychological changes that take place in her body. Once a woman enters the postmenopausal stage, some changes may occur: gain of weight, changing of face features, predisposition to certain infections, skin wrinkles or slowing metabolism.

It is not easy for a woman to deal with this transition. But like in any other difficulties, a strategy is required. First, list all the problems you encounter during the menopause transition, in order to find methods to solve every one of them in particular. The decreased levels of hormones can be adjusted by medication a doctor can prescribe you. Also, the doctor will help you to prevent osteopenia or osteoporosis. The vaginal and urethra dryness can be fixed with lubricants. The body aspects that concern you can be changed too by working out at a gym and cosmetics. The easiest way to deal with all the problems is to accept the idea that they affect you but try to fix them the best way you can. Learn to like the new person that menopause has turned you in.
